Vision & HISTORY.

Janvikas Centre for Health Education is an ambitious yet calculated initiative of Janvikas in promoting quality, affordable and accessible healthcare system in India. The centre fosters development space for hosting training programmes, conceptualizing research and development in the healthcare space and planning technological intervention in the rural and urban healthcare.

Ensure access to quality health care services and building low-cost high-quality preventive healthcare ecosystem for the most vulnerable population through skill development and affordable diagnosis.

  • Development of highly qualified and skilled paramedical professionals in the Indian Healthcare space.

  • Becoming a bridge for high-tech low cost technological demand in the Indian healthcare

  • Replicating the JCHE healthcare model in 300 districts of India.

GDA Healthcare Training Programme

  • The General Duty Assistant (GDA) course trains students to work as nursing aides in hospitals, nursing homes and home care scenarios. The course involves 2 months of classroom training followed by 2 months on-job training.

  • The GDA course lays special emphasis on inculcating empathetic and ethical behaviour beyond patient care. 

  • JCHE’s GDA training programme focuses on practical and experiential learning. Hence, the sessions conducted in class is always followed by 2 hours of practical session on daily basis.

  • Training centre is established at Institute for Studies and Transformations (IST) Neembadi situated at Nani Devti Village of Sanand Taluka, approximately 30 Kms from Ahmedabad City. The training centre is located in 3000 sq. m area with training halls and dormitories to accommodate students for residential training.

  • The training halls are fully equipped with a Projector, White board, and other training tools. The campus also has one separate building “Community Training Hall” which is used as healthcare skill lab and classroom for the training program. The centre is established as per NSDC requirements of classroom, skill lab, library, pantry, reception, and placement cell.
