Mr. Gaganbhai sethi, Ms. Kirtiben Joshi, Ms. Riddhika Bhandari and Udaan program leader Janisarbhai visited Kumarshala. 25 education leaders and SMC members from various villages met on 2nd January, 2021 for UDAAN programme of Janvikas. After the introduction of all the members present in the meeting, Gaganbhai and Kirtiben interacted with the members of the newly-formed school management committees of several schools, eduleaders on Saturday.
Mr. Gagan stated, SMC can be the foundation for strengthening democracy. The main agenda for the meeting was to redefine the education as whole, SMC capacity building, importance of skill development along with primary education, vocational education.
A meeting with BRC, CRC and Government education department was also done, where BRC, CRC and teacher talked on their roles and responsibility as authority and block officers, what is the present condition of education during covid-19 pandemic. How far online education is successful. CRC talked about the condition of students in English language is very weak, As the subject directly starts from class 5th and that too without basics, they requested Janvikas as organization to support in material, and resources in content (app or digital content) for improving students level.
Meeting with sports educators, Parents and students was also done. Visit ended with meeting students and educators to understand the use of learning material, workbooks. What improvements can be done and how janvikas can help further.
